Absenteeism & Leave Rules

Pupils who have been absent from class must have the reason entered in the Regularity Record, stating briefly the cause of absence or delay. All medical appointments should be made on the weekly holidays.
Pupils must attend school on the last day before a vacation and on the first day of school after a vacation.
Children are not to be sent to school for an examination / test when ill or recovering from illness.
A student who is absent from school for two or more days must bring a letter to explain the cause of absence. In case of sickness, a medical certificate must be submitted .
If a child is absent for a month without any intimation to the Principal, her name will be struck off the attendance register.
