Loreto Convent Entally LTSers attended and celebrated the Forest week on 10th July, 2014 at Girish Banerjee Park, Kolkata. Other LTSers from various schools came together to "Plant Saplings". Everyone who attended the programme joined together in planting and watering the saplings. We thank our Principal Ms. M. King who allows us to take part in the noble cause.

A leadership Training Camp cum workshop was held at Loreto Convent Entally on 13th September, 2014. The workshop was held from 8:30 A.M. TO 5 P.M.

Fr. John Rogers, S.J was the resource person. Fifty three students from our school took part in the workshop. The objectives of the workshop were the following:-(i) Personality Development,(ii) Training in Public Speaking ability,(iii) Self discovery, (iv) Leadership skills development, (v) Organizational abilities, (vi) Time Management, (vii) Confidence Building, (viii) Team spirit etc.

The students took part in the workshop with great enthusiasm and learn a lot from the programme. They enjoyed thoroughly.

At the end of the Programme, Leadership Traing Camp Certificates and Public Speaking Certificates were distributed to the students.

LTS orientation given by Fr. John on 17th November, 2014 regarding IGNITE MEET on 21st and 22nd December, 2014.

Ignite 4 was held on 22nd to 23rd December, 2014 at St. Xavier’s Primary School ground. Some students from our school participated as volunteer for Ignite. For the volunteer’s, timing was from 7 AM to 8:30 PM for both the days. Committee co-coordinators divided us into committees. Each committee was allotted with some duties like cleanliness committee for cleaning, games committee for games, food committee for volunteers’ food etc.

Special arrangements were made for women, children, and youth such as jewellery and accessories for women, kid’s corner for children and song dedication for youth. Know LTS was for those who were in LTS and could gain information from there. On the first day of event, we started it with a prayer service. Some lines were read from holy books of Quran, Bible, Gita and Gurugranth. We prayed that this event may be a success which was for a noble cause.

St. Xavier’s LTS animation officially declared Ignite 4 open. Each committee had its group photo. As the clock struck the crowd just rushed in. On this day we had some the dealer earned the highest revenue. Many amazing performances were done by a band performance, S.S.Y girls sung Hollywood songs. The best performance was done by L.C.E students. To see the amazing performance many of our school students and teachers had come in as visitors. The dance of L.C.E rocked the stage and cheered up the cloud. On the second day of the event we had vendor stalls, a totoo stalls, mouth watering food etc. All the committees were doing their respective jobs. Cleanliness committee were doing an excellent job . The vendor stalls had puchkas, chocolates, Vada Pau etc. Many school students performed on the stage. At the end of the event we closed end it up by saying our closing prayer. Head of LTS in India officially declared Ignite 4 closed. We had raised funds which could be used for a noble cause such as solar lamps for poor. As cleanliness was the most important aspect we first cleaned the place wrapped everything and then left the place.
